Supervisory Board
The members of the Supervisory Board of Jadran Kapital d.d. Closed-end Investment Fund are Michael Unsworth, Mate Babić, Marin Mrklić, Domagoj Milošević, and Dubravko Štimac.
Michael Unsworth
Michael Unsworth. Born 1949. Graduated from Enfield College of Technology(1972) with honours.
Junior Oil and Gas analyst with Grieveson, Grant & Co. from 1972 to 1979. From 1979 Head of Oil and Gas Research at Scott, Goff, Layton & Co., Stockbrokers, where he was made a partner and a Member of the London Stock Exchange in 1981.
Served as head of UK Research at Smith New Court plc from 1989 to 1993.
In 1990 was appointed a main Board Director of Smith New Court plc., a Co-Head of Investment Banking in 1994, and Head of Hong Kong and China Securities in 1995. In 1995 became Head of Asian Research and Member of Executive Committee of Merrill Lynch Asia Pacific. Moved to Thailand as Co-CEO of Merrill Lynch Phatra Securities in 1998. Retired at the end of 2000. Currently, M. Unsworth serves as Member of the Supervisory Board of PLIVA d.d. as well as a director and a shareholder of RM Asia Group, SmartCityPeople Co. Ltd., Land Concept International Limited, and Adria-Azija d.o.o.
Dubravko Miholić
Graduated in finance and marketing from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb in 1998, at the IEDC Bled school of Management obtained the MBA. Mr. Miholić graduated in July 2008 as one of the attendees of the first generation of the British CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) and become the certified CIRP lecturer. Served as Vice-president of the Croatian association for public relations during (HUOJ) two mandates. Since 2003. Member of the Middle Board of the European House Zagreb and since 2006 Vice-president of the European movement Croatia . He is one of the founders and Secretary of the Croatian exporters since its founding in 2004. and since 2008. Vice-president of the association Croatian Exporters (HIZ). In 200 Mr. Miholić was appointed by the Government of Croatia as member of the working group for preparation of Eu accession as well as the Secretary for the working group for preparation of the Strategy for Croatian export offensive HIO. He is member of the Management board and co-founder of the Croatian lobbyist association (HDL) since July of 2008.
Mr. Miholić has long standing experience in public relationship and strategic communications and was founder and is one of the owners of the PR agency, and in 2001 consulting company for strategic communications Hauska & Partner. As a consultant he consults Members of Management boards and Supervisory boards of companies and institutions in the area of energy, medicine, pharmacy, telecommunications, finances, as well as Government offices and bodies. Mr. Miholić is lecturer and specialist in the area of lobbying, crisis management, media relations, investor relations and reputation management.
Marin Mrklić
Marin Mrklić earned a degree from the Faculty of Law in Split, and he has dedicated his entire career to his practice as an attorney. He is an expert in financial, commercial, maritime and civil law. He primarily represents foreign clients, both natural and legal persons, in procedures in Croatia and abroad. He is registered on the attorney list of the United States Embassy in Zagreb.
He also works as confidential attorney and correspondent for UK P&I Clug Thomas Miller, North of England P&I Association Ltd, Newcastle upon Tyne, ITF, the Merchant Marine Union of Croatia and the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. He is a consultant for Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank International, Hypo Alpe Adria Leasing Holding and other members of the Hypo Group with reference to legal monitoring in all countries in which the Group operates: Austria, Italy, Liechtenstein, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro.Marin Mrklić is honorary consul of the Republic of Austria for Dalmatia, the president of the Split-Dalmatia County Bar Association and vice president of the Croatian Bar Association.
Domagoj I. Milošević
Domagoj I. Milošević graduated from the Medical Faculty in Zagreb in 1996, and he continued his education at the IEDC Business School and then in graduate study in Bled, where he earned an MBA (Master of Business Administration ) in 2004. He began his career as an independent entrepreneur, while in 2000 he became the co-owner and chief executive of the fire-extinguisher factory Pastor TVA. Domagoj I. Milošević is today the Chief Executive Office of the Pastor Group, and also its majority owner and the chief executive in the Pastor TVA factory.
Dubravko Štimac
Dubravko Štimac graduated in 1992 from Graduate School of Economics and Business in Zagreb. He took a Master degree in "Organization and Management " at the Graduate School of Economics and Business in Zagreb in 1997. During that respective year he mastered the exam for Securities agent scheduled by the Securities Commission of the Republic of Croatia. In 1998 he completed "Securities Processing Training Program" held in New York organized by "The Bank of New York". In 2002 he mastered the exam for chartered pensions funds manager, and in 2003 he completed "Fixed Income Derivatives Program" Zagreb, Croatia. In 2004 he finished "Euromoney Asset Management School" Moscow, Russia. In 2007, attended the lectures and mastered the exam for "Corporate management for Supervisory Board members". He started his career in 1993 as an independent sales officer in the Zagrebačka tvornica papira d.o.o. (Zagreb Paper factory LLC) only to start working for PBZ Investholding d.o.o. as an independent foreign trade officer in 1994. From March 1998 he was working as an Assistant Director of the Securities Center of Privredna banka Zagreb d.d. being promoted in Director of Securities Custody Department. From January 2001 he performed the function of pension fund reform project manager in Privredna banka Zagreb d.d. From October 2001 he performed the tasks of the President of the Management Board of "PBZ CROATIA osiguranje" d.d. the company for the management of compulsory pension funds. He was a member of the Supervisory Board of the company "Podravka" d.d. Koprivnica from July 2006. Besides some other professional tasks he has performed, he was a part-time lecturer at the Graduate School of Economics and Business in Zagreb, teaching "International Economy" and participated at several international and local conferences focusing on capital markets and was also writing for several articles and professional magazines.
